RE: Wave 3 install...Whazoo?

Hoka hey
Reddog also did a real slick install- I'm sure he will respond. I do remember looking at Whazoo's setup as well. The ole Whaz is a craftsman ;)

RE: Should I sell the Outfitter and get a Northern Lite???

Tough decision- the NL 9.6 Q is a very nice camper. I would consider this camper very strongly, if I was to purchase a hardside camper.
Good Luck

RE: Truck camper newbe

Not to be sarcastic- can the logs roll or move??
I use 4 car jacks with a 4 x 4 laid laterally across the jacks. I also use the camper jacks for added stability.

RE: Building a basement?

You could use "blue board foam" as well. If you want some additional storage lay strips of foam- say 12" and use the center as storage-
Foam would be less weight and easier to handle, when the camper is off the truck
What are the bolt cutters for?

RE: Outfitter Apex Filon Problem

Venting might be a good idea. When I first noticed the problem, I did wonder if water had accumulated in the area. Any idea where the vent holes should be located? I don't think I could come up from the bottom - I assume there would be a structural member there.
Maybe it should be vented to the inside ...
I will take a couple photo's for you- I think you can vent the outside

Okan-Star
Thanks for your candor and comments
Freedom
Sometimes moisture from condensation- can accumulate in the bottom of the cab over- could you install a couple weep hole's to vent the area?? Hallmark has done this with some success

RE: Outfitter Manufacturing files Chapter 11 bankruptcy

Freedom has been a loyal owner.
On Sept 24th he went into great detail about how much he enjoyed his camper... and was losing hope that the factory was going to help him solve issues with it. He'd been trying to deal with them for some time... and now there is even more uncertainty.
Many of us remain loyal to our manufacturers... it's hard to remain upbeat when we have problems... especially problems that we don't have the time, skills, or materials to repair ourselves.
I hope that more of us try to help our fellow TC owners... I have offered help to many and have helped a few.
We have a lot of skilled friends on the forum... together we'll be OK!
Good luck freedom

.... I don't recall ever reading a post from a dissatisfied Outfitter owner.
Freedom sounds like he has had some issues with the service.

RE: Anyone Seen This Camper Cover?

The ad states "industries best" warranty of one year- That aint so-Calmark Rv Covers have a six year warranty on thier sunbrella covers.
I'm on my third season without an issue at all- the cover looks brand new. I live near the Wind River Mountains in Wyoming- so we have a little weather :B

RE: Outfitter Manufacturing files Chapter 11 bankruptcy

If I read the TCM article correctly- they refiananced with another bank- while holding a line of credit with the original bank :H
How does that work?? How does one change a note to another bank- while still holding a line credit at the orginal institution :H
It seems to me-lines of credit are issued to business's that have accounts with the institution. Lines of credit are issued when a business's may have slower returns or sales, so they can pay creditors.
Isnt that how the process works??
