RE: Winnebago recommendations.

Whenever I want to buy a vehicle, I usually check out the classified ads. If there is an abundance of a particular brand for sale, means to me alot of folks are not real pleased with it. As for Winnebago products, considering there are so many on the road, the number in the ads are pretty slim. Gotta say something about the owners satisfaction with their products.

RE: LED TV Mount

Check with Fleetwood for a bracket. We mounted a LED in our Itasca and Winnebago makes a bracket for RV's. The TV is real solid, it's not bouncing off.

Pictures

OK, how do you post a picture or pictures in your message? I can add the link to post a pic, but I see alot of posts with nice big pictures in the post that you don't have to click on to view.

RE: Please post pics of your motorhome carport

We have a 40 DP and my carport is 12' sides. Both ends are open, but the sides are enclosed to the ground. I have a gable end on the rear, but not on the front. Have all kinds of clearance. Only is 12' at the extreme edges, the center is about 15 or 16'. http://s142.photobucket.com/user/ru499/library/Carport?sort=3&page=1

RE: Grubby Used Motorhome For Sale

WE had the same situation at CW in Lakewood, NJ. Looked at used pushers, 3 of them. 2 were terrible. Bedroom trim laying on bed, floor heat register grill missing, I mean there was a hole in the floor! The best of the three, a Fleetwood, was kind of smelly inside, dead batteries. Needless to say, bought our M/H elsewhere.

RE: Propane bleed valve

The bleeder valve has a tube connected to it. The tube is set at the 80% level in the tank. When filling, the liquid reaches the tube and the liquid comes out the valve. I don't think it's a good idea to fill using the OBD valve. That's only to prevent the tank from rupturing from too much pressure. Get the tank checked!

RE: Best, cheap Insurance

Try AARP Hartford if you can. They were the cheapest for us by quite a bit.

RE: 40' Newmar 400HP vs 370HP Cummins

The 400 is most likely a ISL 8.9 engine, 1200 lbs of torque. The 370 might be a ISC 8.3, 1050 lbs of torque. That's where you would feel the difference.
