Congrats Lee, on Bree's next big step! I'm jealous, but at the same time elated at your family's good fortune. I know a lot of your Rally Buddys have been saying prayers for Breanna and we won't stop now. Let her know we all say, "You go, girl"!!!!!

RE: First Trip with 2010 Duramax.
Yeah the extra power is very nice, but the transmission is what really impresses me. The tow/haul function holds back your downhill speed effortlessly. Exiting the freeway, I just downshift the tranny and only use the breaks at the bottom of the off ramp. I keep reminding myself that I'm not supposed to keep up with the traffic in the fast lane!!!

This can be a wonderful time of year to see Yosemite. We made this trip last Spring Break and had a great time. Depending on how far along the spring thaw is, the waterfalls will be near spectacular. The valley will be greening up and some tree varieties might even be in bloom. The high country won't be open yet, not until June or July, but there will be plenty of nature's wonders to see!!! Enjoy your trip.

Jill, we stayed at Valencia Travel Village in our maiden voyage of the "Man Cave"! It's a nice campground with friendly folks running the show. It is close to the 5/126 freeway intersection, so there is a little highway noise, but it's not terrible. The fees are reasonable, the restrooms clean and it's close to Magic Mountain and golf courses. Oh yeah, there's a Walmart within a mile and a Camping World a couple of exits down the 5! We enjoyed our first trip in the new trailer.

Mike, we bought a 33ft Springdale with a huge slide out couch and dinette, power stabs, slide and awning. There's a bunkhouse in the rear that serves as Nicky's "Man-cave"! Oh, yeah, for rallies, it's got an outside kitchen equipted with another fridge, sink and a two burner stove!!! Makes our old trailer look like a booger!
John, you were right. Ellie started talking about a larger trailer after we got the big truck.
