Buying A New RV in US?

Anyone know what's involved in buying a new RV (5th Wheel) in the US and importing it into Canada? Even with the low Cdn $, it's still a good deal. Just wondering what kind of issues I might run into because it's not CSA approved? Anybody been there - done that? What should I be aware of? Thanks!

RE: not so fantastic vent

This is a stupid question, but have you bothered to call the factory? Fantastic Fan is the poster child for what customer service is supposed to be. They used to be but not so much anymore since they were bought out by Atwood. I just had excellent service on my Fantastic Vent from the factory back in December. Replaced the damaged parts under warranty on a 8 year old RV! I was amazed and delighted with Fantastic Vent's service. Don't know where the "not so much anymore" comment is coming from but my experience was great! Give the factory customer service folks a chance and I'll bet they fix you up!!!

Restringing Day/Nite Shades - Grommet?

I have a couple of Day/Nite shades that need restringing and I have never been able to get the new grommets that come with the restring kit to fit back into the grommet hole. Is there a secret in how to replace the grommets? Hope someone can help.

RE: Anyone recommend an LED TV with variable audio line-out

Any TV with a headphone jack should allow you to do this. Just get the headphone jack on one end of the connecting cord and RCA jacks on the other end to connect to your sound system. It won't be DVD quality sound but I find it perfectly acceptable in my system.
