Thanks for the replies. I will also check for previous posts on the subject, completely spaced that option. Bob.

black tank dump valve

When dumping my black tank it is very hard to open and close the valve. I tried lubricating the rod that slides in and out but not much difference. Is it time to replace the valve and if so is it just a matter of unbolting the old one and sliding it out then wedging in a new one? Thanks for the help, Bob.

RE: leveling jacks

WE purchased ours that way and that was before we knew much about motor homes. That decision is one of our biggest regrets and would never do it again. Scissor jacks do not work as well and they are a pain in the butt to put up and take down. Bob.

RE: A/C cycles on and off to much

Do you keep the fan running in ON position, if not I suggest you do as it will keep it cooler and may prevent the compressor from cycling on so much. Also, I've heard it best to run the fan on high to prevent the unit from freezing up, others may not agree but it has worked for me. Bob.

RE: air conditioner

OK then I'll keep doing what I'm doing and try and stay cool in these temps if that's possible. Thanks, Bob.

air conditioner

We live in a very hot climate where it is 100 degree every day now and the nights are warm as well. While the compressor cycles on and off I leave the fan motor running all the time as it helps to keep it cool in the MH. My question is, am I risking burning out the fan motor by doing this or should I shut the fan down a few hours a day? Thanks as always, Bob.
