My motorhome did the same thing when i first owned it. I could not for the life of me understand how could relax driving these things. Then I checked the tire pressure and found the outside tires each down 20lbs. Brought all tire up to the same lbs and it rides like a dream, Very stable.

RE: Windshield curtain...
I put them in a tub with oxy-Clean hand washed (twice)/rinsed and hung on the line to dry. That was six years ago they still look beautiful today.
Mine are 18 years old.

If anything like that happened to me I would go to my state representative's office and they would take care of it quickly.
My family has done this multiple times.
