RE: Looking for opinions, good or bad, on Forest River Wildcats

I have the 2011 313RE and have been happy with it. Had the on demand hot water heater replaced with gas because I never could get it to work satisfactorily. Had to have the two front jacks replaced due to leakage and the bed room slide had a leak that turned out to be a twisted sea, all under warranty. Have taken it from TX to CO, CO to NC, NC to TX and TX back to CO then it sat for almost two years due to illness. Pulled it out of storage last September and cleaned it up then took it to AZ for the winter then back to CO. We are quite happy with ours. Bill

RE: GSRA - Let's get a balanced vote!!

Good, used this past April just east of El Paso TX, got us back into El Paso and into a RV Park vs sitting in a cold rest area.

Thanks folks, as you know almost everywhere is cold, icy, and/or snowy right now so will make the decision once repairs are done, not in big hurry but want nice road with available camp grounds between here and Colorado. Bill

Any one have any information on US HWY 54 from El Paso TX up to I-40 in NM it is a option to take vs going over to Las Cruces NM and picking up I-25 North. Ultimate destination is Loveland CO. Right now in EL Paso awaiting repairs should hit the road again Thursday or Friday. Bill

RE: Roof replacement 2000 Bounder

I am in AZ and due to a run in with a tree limb my rubber roof has to be replaced along with a bathroom vent and skylite, the estimate is a little over $7000.00 that includes new decking and of course the destroyed vents, they are projecting 2 men 5 days to take everything off and put on new roof and reinstall the items taken off. Its guaranteed for as long as I own the unit, waiting to hear from insurance company now. Bill

RE: Repair Facility

Thanks Mileshuff, if you would post your impression of their service. I will not arrive in AZ until the end of October and have a medical appointment on Nov 4th to get out of the way then will look at taking the trailer in. Past experience with blow out damage in San Antonio Tx, on my travel trailer at that time, and it sat for 6 weeks before I got it back, this time I want it all approved and parts on hand so I can take it in get it done and get it back to the RV park hoping for no more than a week turn around. RE: Repair Facility

Thanks Harold, will check them out when we get in, my son lives in Surprise so will stay with them while repair being made. Dennis M M wish it had been my bumper, lot easier to get repaired. Thanks for the in put Ken Burke but Topeka is in the wrong direction on this trip. Stuff happens just got to keep positive attitude. Bill

Repair Facility

While en-route to Phoenix AZ I stopped at a small city park and a Texas Oak tree jumped out and damaged my roof. Insurance company said to seal it up and proceed to Phoenix for repair. I will be staying on the West side of Phoenix can anyone recommend a repair facility,if you have had bad experience one to stay away from, in the Phoenix, Surprise area. I am going to have the rubber roof replaced, a vent and a skylight and want a quality job. This is on a 2011 Forest River Wildcat 35ft fifth wheel. thanks Bill
