RE: Roof replacement 2000 Bounder

I am in AZ and due to a run in with a tree limb my rubber roof has to be replaced along with a bathroom vent and skylite, the estimate is a little over $7000.00 that includes new decking and of course the destroyed vents, they are projecting 2 men 5 days to take everything off and put on new roof and reinstall the items taken off. Its guaranteed for as long as I own the unit, waiting to hear from insurance company now. Bill

RE: Repair Facility

Thanks Mileshuff, if you would post your impression of their service. I will not arrive in AZ until the end of October and have a medical appointment on Nov 4th to get out of the way then will look at taking the trailer in. Past experience with blow out damage in San Antonio Tx, on my travel trailer at that time, and it sat for 6 weeks before I got it back, this time I want it all approved and parts on hand so I can take it in get it done and get it back to the RV park hoping for no more than a week turn around. RE: Repair Facility

Thanks Harold, will check them out when we get in, my son lives in Surprise so will stay with them while repair being made. Dennis M M wish it had been my bumper, lot easier to get repaired. Thanks for the in put Ken Burke but Topeka is in the wrong direction on this trip. Stuff happens just got to keep positive attitude. Bill

Repair Facility

While en-route to Phoenix AZ I stopped at a small city park and a Texas Oak tree jumped out and damaged my roof. Insurance company said to seal it up and proceed to Phoenix for repair. I will be staying on the West side of Phoenix can anyone recommend a repair facility,if you have had bad experience one to stay away from, in the Phoenix, Surprise area. I am going to have the rubber roof replaced, a vent and a skylight and want a quality job. This is on a 2011 Forest River Wildcat 35ft fifth wheel. thanks Bill

RE: Check your Credit Card Statements.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mark F of the Rapid Response team for getting my full refund of the overcharge that was made to my credit card when I renewed my Road Side Assistance plan. W. Hastings.

RE: Check your Credit Card Statements.

OK Folks here it is over 2 weeks later and no one has assisted me,9/20 I was contacted by the Rapid Response team and I sent a PM to Christina D on the rapid (?) response team and still no refund, last Wednesday (9/24/14) I sent another email to the response team and today 9/26/14 I sent a email to the Roadside Assistance people telling them on Monday I will contact my Credit Card Company and refute the entire $139.95 charge and as soon as that clears will contact Coach Net and enroll in their program. I've had it with Good Sam's program, your experience with them may be different but this year they get no more money from me. Bill

Check your Credit Card Statements.

I received my notice/bill to renew my Roadside Assistance the amount was $99.95. I sent the form back in with the information to bill my credit card. Today I checked my statement and found I was billed $139.95 not $99.95. I called the roadside assistance office and the gentleman I talked to could not explain WHY I was charged more than the bill and for some reason he could not refund the overcharge of #39.95 but could only refund $32.70 and give me an additional month on my roadside assistance plan. So if you pay thru the mail with a credit card make sure you check your statements for over charging. W. Hastings

RE: long term spot - Denver/Ft. Collins Colorado area

Hi, don't know where you looked on the web but check RVParkreviews.com Just as an example Johnson's corner RV Retreat list rates of $400 to $450 a month plus electric, I have spent two summers there not bad but the noise from IH 25 is pretty loud if you are in the front row, and the wifi is nothing to write home about. Loveland Station list there rate at around $380 a month, nothing fancy about this park and I don't know about their wifi. As far as I know Fort Collins just has a KOA and no idea what they would charge you a month. You don't indicate where you need to be close to so keep in mind from Fort Collins you are only about 35 miles to Cheyenne Wyoming and there are a couple RV Parks there. Good Luck Bill

RE: Changing Insurance to State Farm, your input requested

I have been with State Farm since the late 70's and have had a travel trailer and motor home insured with them. On the TT they paid two different claims each totaling about $3K. When I got my new Fifth Wheel they would not insure it because we were going full time. Still have two cars and life insurance with them. Bill
