RE: OHIO RALLY GROUP 2013 SCHEDULE

Wow, I haven't been on here for a long time! School is out and the last week was sooooo busy! Glad for a break! Steve is teaching a ccw class this Sat. the 15th and has a couple of openings if anyone is interested. I'm going to SC for a week, leaving tomorrow and celebrating my mom's 86th BD and Fathers Day on Sun. and also their 68th wedding Ann. So much to do but wanted to tell everyone "Hi" and hope to see some of you this summer sometime. Our son is in CO and can smell and see the smoke from the fires there. He's doing a co op in Estes Park and won't be home until Dec. Hey Sharyl,This is Youroo,is your Son sure the smoke is from a forest fire? They passed that LAW you know!:) Youroo!!

RE: LCI electric tongue jack - fix that worked for me - some oil

Got the jack appart tonight to find threads sheared from nut. The threads were stuck in thes screw shaft. I think I can fix it. Anyone else fixed one. Any ideas where to find a nut that will work? I think it will be hard to find a (NUT) to work on the (LCI) spaceman looking jacks. Most people replace these with a (Barker)jack before they (Go Nuts)! :B Youroo!!:)

RE: Photo Sticky is Locked

Is it so hard to put the number 640 (or smaller) in the WIDTH BOX? That's all it takes to post a photo that fits and doesn't make the MODS do extra work! http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y444/WoodGlue2012/lazy_zpsfd784af8.jpg WoodGlue All it would take is someone with a little access and (very little) HTML knowledge to make the width field populate automatically with 640. Thanks! But then the MODs couldnt scold Members!;) Youroo!!

RE: OHIO RALLY GROUP 2013 SCHEDULE

Did you check out the tow ratings on that Dodge? Ken was saying 30,000 lbs!! Sounds like a fun day. We went with DD to the Indy Home Show yesterday - saw all the gutter/siding/roofing guys galore along with concrete and landscapers. They wanted ideas for finishing their basement, but didn't learn a whole lot... 30.000# for a fully landscaped house seems LIGHT,eas it brick or alum?:B Youroo!!:B

RE: OHIO RALLY GROUP 2013 SCHEDULE

Hi Linda! Been watching the thread and noticed that everyone has been really quiet. They all must have moved over to FaceBook. I have all my reservations for the rallies booked, and have made an additional one for Findley State Park for July 4th weekend. Was thinking about going out to Forest City, Iowa for the Winnebago GNR, but someone (who shall remain nameless) does not want to go. :( Gee, I wonder who that would be?:B:B:B Steve,is RF or CC in your plans for this year? :) Youroo!!

RE: How to fix a hole in vent cover

I believe he is playing you guys. Nobody is going to go to the trouble of climbing on the roof to patch a $15 part. Why would he have to climb on the roof to stick a wad of epoxy in a dime-sized hole in the cover? Gosh- the poor guy said he doesn't want to replace the lid, and most of what he's gotten back is folks telling him to do it anyway. Give him a break already! You are right, replace the 15$ Lid and then put a 35$ Lifetime cover over the whole thing!:) Youroo!!

RE: Earthbound closes up shop

Sad to see a newcomer to the industry close up so soon. Earthbound tried to take on the great Airstream from another angle. These will be worth a small fortune soon. Remember the Edsal? Clicky Edsel! ;) Youroo!!

RE: Ball grease

I have used Vaseline on the (Ball sockets, uper & lower for the Trunnion bars,2-5/16 ball, and fixed cams on the sway control. This Reese set up is the one my Dad used for 15 years and I have used for 25 years. I have (3) sets of bars,500,700,and 1200#,all fit my hitch head. I have several different size and kind of trailers, they have thier own snapup plates on the frame just use bars for proper weight. Youroo!!;)

RE: Rear Kitchens

We have a KZ Frontier 2605 with the rear kitchen. LOVE IT! No issues, and like everyone has said, can reach in the back door and access the fridge without tracking dirt in the TT. We use it all the time and no problems. Camping frinds of ours have a KZ Panther with a rear kitchen and no problems with theirs either. We also had a 2605 KZ,we (Pulled) it (Many) miles,no issue with R/K of any kind. Unlike a seasonal site or a Hurry Up and go Weekend trip you must Pack proper,(If it shakes it breaks! Youroo!!;) Good to hear from a fellow KZ 2605 owner! We love ours, but it's our first TT. Any issues from yours that we need to look for? We bought ours used and have a little bit of delamination on the exterior. The leaks were discovered by the previous owner quickly and fixed. Other than that, no problems what so ever. Hope I didn't just jynx us!....LOL. We (HAD)a 2605 bought new had it for (2) years, good trailer. Youroo!!:)
