Not sure. Did not know there were 2 different. Leather would we covers. My neighbor have leather added and you can not tell the difference.

What would you do...
Check out my current TV below. Since I can not sleep very much due to a few medical problems I was killing time looking at area dealerships. I email a dealership about a newer more expensive TV. A few days later a sales rep asked if I would be interested in a recent trade-in they had received. 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 2 wd diesel just like my truck....with a few exceptions. Mine LTZ & 71 Pk. Leather, rear backup camera....etc. Theirs LT cloth and a lot less stuff. Max tow mine 9900, theirs 12,000.
I have chatted phone & text. They would add leather, step rails & spray in liner if I trade for $4300 difference. I was at 2000 range.
2007 - 44800 miles
Mine 2009 38000 miles
I am at this time toning to keep mine....but it sure would give me more options having a diesel, Allison trans. Both have 3.73 gears. Both 2 wd.

I hope I did this correct. A few questions. This is a 50 amp plug? Advantages and disadvantages. 2 AC units? Anything else listed that is a really good or maybe really bad?

I have to suggest checking out Horizon RV in LaGrange. It is not a mega dealer, but the owner is honest and sells his RVs at good prices.We bought our Sabre from him in 2007. He didn't carry the Columbus line at the time we bought ours, or we would have gone to him. The owner's name is Jesse Harrison. Here's their website:

Horizon RV does not carry anything in size/wt that I need. After I get over this surgery I plan to meet with him about possible ordering a FW.

If you are interested in a Jayco and live in Eastern NC, their website might direct you to Camptown RV in Clayton & Swansboro. This is one dealer I can suggest not buying from. We would be towing a Jayco 5th wheel right now if it wasn't for their terrible service and parts department. As for their sales staff, they will tell you whatever you want to hear, just to sell you an RV. i.e. I was looking at Jayco's high line 5th wheel with a GVWR of 16,000# and a hitch weight of 2700#. Their salesman assured me that my 2500 RAM could handle it and the truck's towing specs are not true.
Anyway, Jayco makes a nice trailer, but be careful where you buy it.

Jayco's HT line are all under 10,000 pounds. We have the 26.5 RLS with two swivel rockers in the rear. No island kitchen but plenty of room. Ours came from the factory with a sticker saying that the "dry" weight is 7,272 pounds leaving about 2,600 of cargo capacity. Even with me in the FW, we don't approach that weight. Take a look on-line and then try RV Direct to see pricing. When we priced ours with RV Direct, the price with most options was $24,121, probably has gone up a bit in the last year and one-half, but might still be close to $25,000.
This model is 1 I really like.

We have a 2012 Heartland Greystone 32RE.
The Sundance line will be taking over the Greystone floorplans for 2014.
The new Sundance models will be the Sundance Platinum series now.
Greystone and Sundance are virtually the same.
What did you want to know?
Quality? Cheap looking? Average? There is a model 3 hours from the house. Trying to get a feel if it is worth the time to go see.

You asked this question a couple days ago about basically the same spec FW with the same truck. The answer is still yes it will do fine. You can load the FW all the way to it's 10,800 limit with no issues wieght wise on that combination. No need to limit water on board or anything else if you stay within the 10,800 of the trailer.
The gasser 3.73 will fine also but need to run a higher rpm pulling steep hills and heavy headwinds
I also asked this in the 5th wheel forum and all i got was that i should not do it &

Hmmm you asked the same question in a forum where those answering are 5er owner's with tons of experience and didn't get the answer you seem to want so now you are asking the same question in a forum not specifically applicable to your trailer hoping for WHAT:h ... a different answer ... some from people maybe only towing a pop up:S
IMO this is the wrong forum to get a good "second opinion" as you imply you are looking for ... I would replace that "second opinion" with maybe "rationalization".
Sometimes the logic of folks make we wonder:h

Any basically on the 5 FW form the answer I got the most was that basically my TV is worthless when it comes to handling a 5th wheel.:?

Which type/brand of 5th wheel hitch?
I am in the planning/decision stages of whether or not to make the move from TT to FW. I would be getting a FW with 10,000 GVWR max. Would like to spend no more than $1500.

Enough truck? Yes. Enough motor? Right on the edge.
X2 even those 3.73's will hurt you in the hills, take it to 4.10's and you will have a better towing experience.
We do the mountains every other year or so.
