kingdome Satellite Dish

We have an older Kingdome model 9702 that came with the RV in 2006. Initially we used Direct tv but now are Dish customers. Regardless of our location or wide open area, we never get the full guide or all the channels we subscribe to. Dish says it's a Kingdome problem. King says the 9702 will only receive one satellite, which is not enough to get all my channels. Do all Dish rvers have the same problem with 9702? Any workarounds?

kingdome Removal from 2007 Allegro

I have a KIngDome 9530-LP-B that I understand is obsolete and was considering removing it. I recently acquired the motorhome and it was already disconnected on the inside. There is some evidence of headliner delamination in that area on the inside. There is a lot of sealant over the four bolts and the considerable area where the wires go in the roof. https://i.imgur.com/m14qffil.gif https://i.imgur.com/kyLkV5Cl.gif It is a fiberglass roof and I am experienced with fiberglass work on boats and have those materials. What puzzles me is that the bolts appear to be studs coming up from below. This cannot be as it would not be accessible from below. I have the install manual, but it is not specific and shows no diagrams or pictures of the feet. What I want all of you to say is: "No, the stud is simply part of the KingDome footpad that is screwed into the roof from above with screws that you cannot see because of all the sealant" thanks for any ideas, fred
