Try this on smoked chicken. Get chicken quarters, cook on the smoker and brush this stuff on the last 10 minutes of cooking. It is really great!
Mix:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoon cracked black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
This is from Big Bob Gibson in Decatur, AL. who came up with it in 1925. Cheaper than buying at $5.00 per bottle!
On edit: When I make mine I use a bit more Mayo for thickness and use red wine vinegar in lieu of the apple vin. and 1 Tablespoon of salt.
Great to dip the chicken in too!
