Good post MELM. I have high speed interned 99% of the time, then when on the road generally 56k on my laptop. Pictures are not a problem with me but see how they can be to others. I like the idea of restricting the size but not sure what size would be prudent. I personally cropped and down sized mine to an icon button, when clicked on goes to my site where they can see thumbnail size pictures and if they want they can click on them to see much larger pictures.
YEAH IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am not messing with it again. If this is too big of a picture, let me know and I will (might) reduce it.

Hows that old story go .... "I complained about my sore feet until I met a man who had no feet" or something like that..
Thanks again for the tip,

TWO CENTS WORTH
The story goes that a man died and was approached by the Devil who told him that he could buy his soul back for a dollar. The man searched his pockets and could only come up with 98 cent. While begging the Devil to forget the two cent he was short, an Angel happened by and hearing the Devil laughing, asked the man, "Would you mind if I put in my two cents ?" The Devil got so mad that he exploded in a puff of smoke and the man's soul was saved. The moral: Sometimes putting in your two cents worth makes a difference.

very good information Melm and it was you that helped me over the threshold back in October to doing my own signature. I do question the fact that my singles website is omitted from your recommended websites however, since it is also an MSN Open Roads group.
For the record and anyone stymied by the technicalities of adding a picture to a signature, I have done some research resulting in a pictorial of the steps and posted it on a separate messageboard at the MSN Groups Open Roads Singles website. It is at How do I add a picture to my profile in the Forum? and that is a link to it.
OK, I did everything you said -- got the pic up on picturetrail and got the URL address and placed it in the box after clicking "image." I then pressed "finished." All that happened was that it placed the address under the copy already in my sig. When I pressed "preview," all I got was a square with an "x" in it. Still no pic??????? What now?????
