Recently someone was looking for things to cook in the crockpot....I saw these in a magazine, thought they were worth passing on because they are all easy and a little different.
MIX IN A 5 - 5 1/2 QT SLOW-COOKER, THEN COOK ON LOW SETTING
1. 4 LB COUNTRY STYLE PORK RIBS, 2 LBS FRESH SAUERKRAUT, RINSED, 1 CUP BARBEQUE SAUCE AND 1/3 CUP WATER. COOK 8 - 10 HOURS.
2. 13.5 OZ CAN COCONUT MILK WHISKED WITH 1 TBLSP YELLOW CURRY BASE (FROM 3.5 OZ PKG) ADD 8 SKINLESS BONELESS CHICKEN THIGHS (ABOUT 2 1/2 LBS) COOK 6-8 HOURS.
3. 3 LB BEEF CHUCK CUBES FOR STEW, 2 CANS (28 OZ EACH) BARBECUE BAKED BEANS AND 2 TBLSPN CHILI SEASONING MIX. COOK 8-10 HOURS.
4. 3 LB ROLLED, BONED LAMB SHOULDER, 1 .8 OZ BOX LEEK SOUP MIX, 1 TSP MOROCCAN OR GREEK SPICE MIX AND 1 1/4 CUPS WATER. COOK 8-10 HOURS.
5. 4 TURKEY DRUMSTICKS (ABOUT 3 1/4 LBS) SKIN REMOVED, 1 LB BAG FRESH VEGETABLES FOR STEW, CUT IN BITE-SIZE PIECES, 2 PKS (1.2 OZ EACH) ROASTED TURKEY GRAVY MIX AND 2 CUPS WATER. COOK 8-10 HOURS.
