New to rving.

We have a Starcraft Antiqua 195ck that is < 3000 lbs, pulling with 2001 Dodge Ram Quad cab.

as long as you don't have any type commercial logo's on your vehicle you're ok. however the dot has the right to pull anyone they want. they have more authority than the highway patrol. in ohio make sure you don't have a logo @ commercial tag on a private vehicle and be on the turnpikes or parkways new jersey doesn't allow this either. In NC most pick ups 2500-3500 have commercial tags that are tagged private commercial. they are now beginning to change them to weighed tags.

I did stop at one

Forget where

But a sign , just before the "chicken coop" said ;

All Commercial , Buses , RV vehicles and rental trucks STOP on scales , at weigh station ahead.

But that is the only one I ever saw .
