The last time we went camping, we had about 1/2 bottle of Caesar salad dressing that we really didn't want to pack up and bring home. We took some boneless, skinless chicken breasts and seasoned them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. While they were grilling, we basted them frequently with the salad dressing. They were very tender and had a great flavor. I imagine you could use other dressing flavors similarly. (Terry)

We do that with plain old Italian dressing almost every time we have boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Yummy! We tried it with ranch dressing once - it was OK, but we like the Italian better. We sometimes marinate them in the dressing before cooking.

If you've never tried shark before, try this:

shark fillets (boneless, and not a fishy taste at all!), marinate them in Wishbone Italian (the kind with the oil...not the Lite version) for a couple of hours, then grill.

We use up salad dressings we don't like on salad by marinating meats in them and then grilling. Yum! They're all tasty that way, it seems like. Our favorite is zesty Italian though.

Ingredients
4 slices boneless chicken breast
4 slices swiss cheese
16 oz. "sauerkraut" dairy not canned
16 oz. Thousand Island dressing

In a 6" x 10" pyrex container (easy to clean)
In order - chicken, sauerkraut, cheese (cover fully), dressing
Cook at 325 deg. for 40 min. {(ovens vary)(mine is gas)}.

It is moist, delectible, inexpensive, & I hated all chicken that was not barbecued.
