Hi everyone,

Well, we heard from the dealer this afternoon. As most of you know if you follow this forum closely, or if you've ordered an RV in recent months, there is an oven problem that has been holding up the completion of many RV's. Our dealer confirmed that the problem was holding ours up as well but, after his conversation yesterday with the factory, it's scheduled to come off the line either today or tomorrow. If it comes off today, it's possible it could be picked up as soon as tomorrow. Either way, after a couple of days of prep work and if all goes well, we should have it home by late next week—tops. YAHOO! I was getting a little nervous. We've got reservations for several trips starting in early June and running right through the Summer and Fall, and canceling a bunch of reservations because you have no RV is not a good way to start this whole business.

Now, where have I been keeping all those lists? lol

Hey all I know that feeling, let us know when you get it. I spent the last week or so up dating our unit with just a few Goodies, 20" flat screen tv in lr, 19" tv in bed room, backup lights, side directional lights, 2nd am/fm for the kids in the toy box, and just about any other thing the "boss" wants, 1st trip is this weekend in the yard and then a 3 day on the long weekend, can't wait! Oh when you check yours out look at the black and grey tank mountings, mine were not bolted tight.

Hi Marty,

Just a "few goodies"! WOW—flat screen TV, AM/FM in the toy box—maybe I'll just move in with you! lol We have a few things that we bought while we have been waiting. I'm sure that once we get inside, they'll be a whole new list that I'll be looking at. Hope we can get it all done in a week or two. We have reservations in Gettysburg the first W/E in June to get together with some friends. Thanks for the heads-up about the tanks. I'll take a look. Enjoy your first driveway camp and the long W/E to follow.

Hi Rhonda,

Thank you! I can feel your excitement. As a matter of fact, I can feel it almost every time you post anything on this forum! It just pours out of you! lol We're excited too. When it does finally get here, Donna and I certainly have a lot to do to get ready for that meeting in Gettysburg. We're looking forward to that too! We'll keep you posted. Thanks again!

Hi Robert, Just finished the upgrades, for now, Max airs, tested all the tv, sat ,backup cam, internet connection. Wife and Kids have the first load of stuff in and put away so we are close. I am going to pull in the ATV's Thursday night and finish the mod's to the toy box and we should be done. I'll post some phots this week on the KZ owners site so you can check out my hard work to date, the backup lights and cam are great, I have the cam set if I can't see an object as I back up I am within 32" of the rear of the trailer, looks about right for now we'll see how real world is. Hope to have it all loaded for a trip to the local scale Friday, or maybe Monday after the test run, I'll post the weights.. Again post a photo when you get the 5ver home. We wish you all the enjoyment that we are finding in our so far.

Marty,

It sure sounds like you are turning that into quite the RV and it is 40' after all—you sure I can't just move in with you? I can cook! I'll look forward to the pics!

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately Mike, I'm not much of a picture-taker and I don't have any way to take a pic and put in on the computer. I'm also embarrassed to say I don't have the knowledge or skills to be able to do it even if I had the equipment. There are several people who have asked for them though and it may be something I'll have to add to my "things to do" list!
