hope someone out there can help me. i have misplaced my recipe for eatmore bars; my recipe used chocolate chips, peanuts and corn syrup, however i can not remember how much of each. thank you for any help you can give me.

I never heard of eatmore bars, so if you can give me a little taste of what it taste like, I might have something similar in my coona$$ recipes that will work. Danny

eatmore bars are similar to an Eat-More chocolate bar you can buy in Canada, not sure whether you can get same or comparison in USA, however it is like a chocolate toffee with bits of peanut mixed in with the toffee???

Here is a recipe for Eatmore Bars....

We call them Chewy Chocolate Peanut Bars

Makes 48 bars

1 cup white corn syrup
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 and 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
2 and 1/4 cups quick cooking oats
1 and 3/4 cups unsalted peanuts without skins


Put corn syrup, peanut butter,and chocolate chips in a medium saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Turn into a well greased cookie sheet with sides. When cool enough, pat flat to cover pan.

Refrigerate overnight, Remove from fridge 20 minutes before cutting into bars. Each bar is about 1 x 2 inch.

Per bar: 114 calories, 3.1 g protein, 6.6 g fat, 12.3 g carbohydrates, 1.4 g fiber, 12 mg calcium, 8 mg. iron,
