I got this from a 'Marsha Sue', off the internet, so really can't take credit for it, HOWEVER, imo it is Great!!! This glaze can be used on pork, beef, or chicken. I used it last week on Shish-ka-bobs and it went over so well I am 'pre-preparing' ingredients to take rv'in soon.
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic power
1 tsp. tabasco sauce
1 c. pineapple juice, I subbed crushed pineapple
1/2 c. Jack Daniels Whiskey
2 cups brown sugar
2 beef bouillion cubes
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients in a small pan. Bring to a boil; reduce and simmer for 15 minutes. Allow to cool and use as a sauce on any grilled meat. I added it the last 20 minutes of grilling. It can also be used as a dipping sauce, but don't cross contaminate - pour off what you will use for basting and refrigerate the rest.
Ok that does it. I have watched the food channel BBQ cook offs and they all use Jack Daniels whiskey. I will go down and get some on Monday. I am not a drinker so I'm debating should I buy a pint , a fifth, or a half gal. Guess it depends on two things. Will I like the sauce, or will I be using it all the time. I have two days to make up my mind.
