I make this fried rice up before I go camping and keep it in a ziplock bag and when out camping I dump the rice in the pan and throw the bag away. Makes for easy clean up and no messy pan to clean. The sesame seed oil gives the rice great flavor. It's has a strong flavor so be careful when adding.

Fried Rice

2 Eggs, mixed well
1 1/2 cups Pork, chicken, or bacon cut up into pieces.
1 medium onion chopped
chopped carrots
2 tablespoon Soy Sauce or to taste
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil or to taste
3 cups cooked rice.

In a nonstick fry pan heat up peanut oil and fry eggs. When cooked transfer to plate to cool. When cool cut into bite size pieces. Put some peanut oil in the pan to heat. When hot add onions, carrots and meat. Cook until meat is done. Add cook rice, eggs, soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir well and cook on low for 15 minutes.

Thanks ol'blue. I mentioned this one to the DW and she asked me to save it. Now I hope she uses this recipe pretty soon because it looks pretty good. I may have to get off my lazy carcass and get in the kitchen myself.

You might think about adding the sesame oil at the last of the cooking process. The oil is only used for seasoning, not cooking, and is rather delicate. It is easy to burn and create bad tastes.

Try shrimp instead of pork and I scramble my eggs instead of frying them. Just another way I guess.

I don't know about you guys but I have yet to find anything (except maybe a cold beer or a 10 year old malt) that was not improved with the addition of a good sesame oil.
