Yesterday I completed the installation of my BrakeSmart controller into the pocket of the dash board on our F250. I took some pictures and notes during the process; PM me if you are interested in installing yours this way. It wasn't very hard and looks real clean.

Just sent you a PM to get a copy of your notes and pics. The way you installed it is exactly what we want to do. It looks great.

By the way, are you planning on getting the Brake Smart upgrade for monitoring your exhaust gas temp?

Sandy & Shirley,

I saw that feature but I don't think it applies to gas engines, does it? I have a V10 gas, not a diesel.

Nice install. I am looking at the brakesmart also.

Should have looked at your signature! Another senior moment! Yes, the exhaust gas monitor systems is for diesel not gas.

Very nice job. Looks like the dash of the '04 is the same as my '03 in that area. Do you have pix of the tie-in to the brake line?

I like my Prodigy controller, but may want to get the Brake Smart if I can do the installation myself.
