When I purchased my unit, the basic warranty was for one year. I also purchased an addition year directly from Forest River (FR) for $100 US.
My dealer didn't tell me about this second year program... I guess he wanted to sell me his "Total Protection Package" for $1600 Canadian. I learned about the FR second year warranty from one of the forums that I use.

We just picked up our new 30ts last week.....The warranty is for one year but they gave me a form to fill out and for $100 they will cover pretty much everything for one more year...not a bad deal at all !

I just sent my $100 check in for my additional year last week.Had to call Forrest River to get a form sent,the form states must be sent in within 10 days of purchase.I asked the dealership why I wasn't advised of this option & was told they weren't aware of it,but they sure did(and still do)want to sell me their extended warranty for $1895.Makes you wonder how people can look you in the eye sometimes.
