Thanks for the Pic, Tup. Looks you guys camp in style. Is that a breadmaker I see by the door? There was other stuff on modifying awnings awhile back by getting longer poles and using pvc pipe to attach the poles to the sides of the PU. I'm sure that is cheaper but I, too, like the awning inside the tube. When we camp at the coast, we really have to tilt it so the rain and moisture drain off.
There are no guy wires, no loose poles, everything is self contained. Simply unzip the bag, uroll the canopy, a telescoping pole on each side snaps into the trailer, another telescoping pole on each side are the legs. It literally takes one minute to set up with two people. With one person, it is a bit harder, because you have to do one side while the other side flops. It takes maybe 5 minutes if alone.
