We have a 36 KX2 New Vision Toyhauler and love it...have had minor issues with it; but most were readily fixible..We are very pleased with it..

We ordered ours about this time last year and it took 12 weeks...They were swamped with orders then...

Hope that helps a bit...

This question is specifically to NJLowkey.

I have the same truck that you do, only mines a 2004. Aren't you at least a little concerned about the the hitch weight? At 2920 it only gives you 120 pounds before you hit the 3040 payload capacity of your truck.

I also have the SRW Dodge Cummins and I'm just a little concerned about the pinweight. I think that when we load a zillion pounds of stuff in the garage, we'll counterbalance some of the tendency for the toyhauler to be nose heavy.

I just got my new 33PL Sportster, and didn't put a thing in it until I got it to a CAT scale for an accurate weigh. All the tanks are empty. This toyhauler has about all the options except for the genset. It includes the fiberglas exterior, loft, full diamond plate in the rear, extra rear door, fuel station, etc. The sticker on the inside of the cabinet door says this unit weighed 10020 empty. Add to that 60 pounds of LP gas for a total of 10080. The REAL weight is 10630, 8740 on the axles and a pinweight of 1890. The 35px2 is going to be heavier.

It'll be weighed again when it is "wet" and loaded, with and without the two ATV's in the rear.

dthevis2,

It's taking my dealer in California about 6 weeks to get his K-Zs shipped.

We have a 29P sportster and we love it. It's not a very popular brand in the west coast. We compare it against all the popular brands here and found KZ is the best for us. Only use it twice but so far so good...

dthevis,
Come over here to the Houston area. A dealer that has 3 locations here has plenty of the toyhaulers you are looking for. They are in stock. Have a nice day.
