My family just loves Pizza Casserole. This recipe was my grandmothers recipe, it's simple to make and a little different using noodles. Most of my recipes call for spaghetti.

Pizza Casserole

7 oz (4 cups) uncooked, wide egg noodles
1/2 LB lean ground beef
1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1 small pkg. pepperoni slices, halved
1 small can sliced ripe olives, drained (optional)
1 can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
8 oz (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 Tbs. chopped, fresh parsley (optional)

Cook noodles to desired doneness as directed on package; drain. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large skillet, cook ground beef, onions and bell pepper 7 to 9 minutes or until meat is browned and vegetables are crisp-tender; drain any fat. Add noodles, Italian seasoning, pepperoni, olives, tomato sauce and tomato paste; mix well. Fold in 1 cup cheese. Pour mixture into ungreased 2 quart baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake for 25 -35 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese begins to brown. Sprinkle with parsley.

I have a simular recipe but I put the noodles in the casserole and then top with some cheese, then the sauce, then the toppings, then some more cheese. Comes out kinda half way between lasagna and pizza.

Another good pizza one - This one microwaved
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 4 oz can mushrooms, drained
2 to 4 oz chopped pepperoni
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp leaf oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/8 tsp garlic salt
2 cups water
2 cups uncooked noodles
Microwave meat and onion in 1 qt cassserole for 5-6 minutes until set -- drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Micro covered 15 to 17 minutes until noodles are tender stirring a couple of times.
4 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Sprinkle cheeses and micro uncovered another 1 to 1 1/2 minues until cheese is meelted.
