The Gettysburg Rally is open to everyone. The only requirement is that you make a reservation at the Drummer Boy campground for the rally weekend and let us know that you are attending. Our 2004 rally had 23 reservations and 17 attendees. Our 2005 rally had 73 reservations and 70 attendees with 12 returning from 2004. The 2006 rally should be even larger so make your reservations early.
If you are interested in attending the rally, please contact the Drummer Boy campground to make your reservation. Their phone number is: 800 293-2808. Their website address is: http://www.drummerboycamping.com. Let them know that you are attending the rally and you will get a 10% discount. After you have made your reservation, contact Lidea and let her know which site you will be in so we can keep our website up to date.
To all of our attendees,
We have made a lot of changes to the website this past week. Please check the attendee page to make sure that your information is accurate. I have also create a Tees and Tours page and created an administrator’s page so that those who are organizing the tours can keep their attendee lists public. If you are interested in a tour, you can follow the links at the top of the Tees and Tours page to send an RV.net private message to the tour organizers.
We also updated our activities page. If there is a missing activity, or an update on the time and place of a planned activity, let me know so I can update the website.
It's time to start getting the list of tee shirt sizes.
We are still trying to get a sponsor to pay for our tee shirts this year but we just can’t wait any longer to get everyone’s tee shirt sizes.
If everyone could please send an e-mail to teeshirts@gettysburgrally.com. Please include your RV.net username, your site number and a list of the tee shirt sizes you will need.
Adult: XXXL, XXL, XL, L, M, S
Youth: L, M, S
Wait a few days after you send the e-mail then follow up on Our tours and tees page to make sure that your sizes are posted on our master list.
Thanks and see you all in May
Sandy and Shirley

Please include the names of all those in your group and include your childrens' ages. When you send the PM..please write your Site # in the subject line.
If you will be joining us for the first time in 2006, please PM me with your Site # once you have confirmed it with Drummer Boy. We'll also need a photo of you for the Attendee List. Feel free to PM me with any questions.
OK LarryCad..here you go! The list you've been awaiting.
Thanks for your patience.
This list will probably shrink by a few when I confirm some cancellations with Sandy.
Respectfully submitted,

Nobody on their death bed ever said "I wish I'd spent more time at the office!"
We'll be doing the logo for the Rally next year.
As soon as we get something together I'll post it here.
Well also be doing individual signs for each site,
should make it easier to identify each other.

2004 Coachmen Aurora on a FORD V-10 Chassis
2004 Jeep Liberty Don't take your organs to Heaven. Heaven knows we need them here! Dave has a dog named Muffy and Mike owns a Cockapoo!
The Ghost Walk will be on Friday evening at the Farnsworth House in Gettysburg. We will carpool to get there. The cost will be $7 per person with children seven and younger free and the best way to handle that would be to arrive at Farnsworth House and pay there. The Ghost Walk takes about an hour and a half and with about twenty five people, which is the number that took the Ghost Walk at Gettysburg II, we could all be in one group. We will form a second group if we exceed twenty five. Taking the Ghost Walk after dark seems best, so 8 PM would be a good time to start. After the Ghost Walk some may want refreshments, so in the Farnsworth House is a Tavern which has drinks as well as food and deserts. Shortly after 9:00PM and going on until 11:00PM they will have live entertainment (free) with people in period costumes. We will try to reserve a place for any in the group that wishes to go to the Tavern, but it is usually a walk-in service with no reservations taken.
Anyone who wishes to take the Ghost Walk on Friday, May 19 please send me a PM and I will put you on the list. Also, let me know if you are interested in going to the Tavern afterwards.

We can also incorporate activities into this such as Limbo, Karaoke, Hawaiian Music.
We will do some Tropical Appetizers, Easy Tropical Dishes and Desserts. This way no one has to go back and cook dinner. Whatever leftovers we have we can bring to potluck on Saturday night.
I figured Friday would be good so we can all meet again for another social. The weekend goes by too quick and some people might not be able to make it on Thursday night.
Please post or pm me with any suggestions you may have.
