Ok.....here is my 2 cents worth

I too don't play poker so it won't impact me too much (unless I learn before the next rally ) But I would like to see some more time to get to know everyone. Being the socially challenged couple we are (well, mainly me) we really didn't get a chance to get to know most of you. We wound up staying in the camper most of Friday or running off to Wally world. The people we did meet.....some of you will be (hopefully) life long friends.

What I am trying to say in my round about way, is that we can camp anytime, but may only get one weekend to get to know you and your family and would like some more opportunities to do so. By the time Saturdays potluck came around we were all more relaxed and having a good time.

If a poker tournament will help to do that then I am all for it. Or maybe one section can be for poker, one for bridge, or cribbage, etc......Go Fish for the kids

As I said....JMHO

Yes Jim, and you'll probably want the 10,000th post, too.

The situation is hopeless but not serious.

I know there was talk of some type of talent contest or entertainment.
Anyone interested in pursuing that for next rally?

As much as I LOVE to play cards... I do agree that it is not a family activity.

I would vote that maybe we could have a "family game night" or party games such as sack races, egg tosses etc.

As for poker... one of us (maybe even me) could have a friendly game back at the camper one night?
