My friend has the Lexus LX470. He wants to use this as a toad. He's getting conflicting information about its "towability."

Has anyone ever towed a Lexus LX470 or a Toyota Land Cruiser 4 wheels down? Any modifications or installs needed? If so, where does he go?

Any sites or organizations that may offer some solutions?

Toyota says no for all of their autos including the 4 wheel drives.

I agree with the above statement that Toyota say's no but just today looked at a Toyota Land Cruiser behind a DP class A. The guy said he just puts it in nuetral and has not had any problems. I don't know what problems he may have down the road but he said he had over 1000 miles so far. It was a 2003 model. Just got home today from a long trip and was looking at all of the toads that were behind class a's, a lot of strange vehicles that aren't supposed to be towed. Even saw one Jaguar behind a Prevost. I guess with enough money anything can be towed.
