I agree with the above statement that Toyota say's no but just today looked at a Toyota Land Cruiser behind a DP class A. The guy said he just puts it in nuetral and has not had any problems. I don't know what problems he may have down the road but he said he had over 1000 miles so far. It was a 2003 model. Just got home today from a long trip and was looking at all of the toads that were behind class a's, a lot of strange vehicles that aren't supposed to be towed. Even saw one Jaguar behind a Prevost. I guess with enough money anything can be towed.

I have towed my 2001 landcruiser thousands of miles since it was new no problem I now have 54000 miles a i am selling this and will be towing my wifes 2000 lx470 the only differnce I had to make a block to lower the base plate the lexus has a lower bumper I tow with transmission in N and transfer case in N I do start it when ever fueling run from drive to reverse with tranfer case still in N hope this helps I would not worry the service manager when we bought the lexus it can be done
