Anybody ever build a Deck on the back of your TC.
I was thinking of a lightweight angle iron framework the width of TC and attached to TC by way of receiver hitch, with a adjustable leg on each outside corner, all this could be folded up across back of camper, but not tall enough to cover tail lights, when you didn't want to use it , unpin it at hitch and take it off. Anybody have one already. You could use a peice of lightweight material to make floor and even carpet it.

A lot of the TC's used for surf fishing on the East Coast have them. I've seen one on the road but it seemed to be a pretty rigid platform, not something solely in the hitch.
I'm sure some of them will post some pictures.

It folds up...but has to be lowered to open the camper door to get in. I only fold it up if I am towing the boat.

I have thought about modifying a hitch-haul carrier ($40 on sale, harbor fright)to create a porch. Plywood over the basket area or installing the carrier upsidedown and attach plywood to the bottom, depending on the height of your hitch. Late.
