The dust was bad going to Idaho yesterday, the wind was blowing hard and they even had to closed I-15 north of Idaho Falls.

I was stunned, we got the best gas mileage ever in our Jeep with a nice tail wind, 17.5 mpg WOW For some reason it wasn't as good coming home.

I really like the second picture

This is an absolutely stunning photo! I've tried for that effect several times, but never took one even close to this. Absolutely magnificent! Thanks for sharing.

WOW! LOTS OF GREAT PHOTOS.

We have been gone for two days checking out University of North Texas,(Denton Tx) were my daughter thinks she might like to transfer in the fall. The campus is very nice, factuality as well. Dangit left the camera at home.
Had to stay in a three star hotel (1yr old Holiday Inn)for forty bucks a night plus tax. It was my first time to use Priceline to book a room.
While I much rather be in my TT on the lake, I could not complain much about the price.
I guess I am a yakker now

Tulirose great to see you come through with some pics!
I Love the ocean.

??

She will love UNT!

This is our "territory." Next time you come, stay at the Hickory Creek COE off I35, about 15 minutes from the university. It's a wonderful park on Lake Lewisville. I guarantee you'll enjoy it!

Preacher - Thanks for sharing your trip with us. It looks like you had a great time. I enjoyed all the pictures.

Tuli - No need to apologize - one of the reasons I love lighthouses is because they are near the water. Great beach scenes! I am still hoping for a nice day trip with DH out there (too scared to bring the trailer out to Long Island).

mokai - beautiful sunset picture

Jim - I like the moon shots too!

Don - I don't like to eat fish very much but I do like tilapia because it has a mild taste. Great looking meal - very healthy!

I got out this weekend with my fishing club: the Arizona Crappie Assoc. (AZCA). Since I had my boat I decided to just "tent" it for the 2 nights. Here are a few pics at my campsite (Roosevelt Reservoir - Grapevive group site - Coot loop)

Here's my unique look at the moon Saturday evening:

Marites, here's one you'll enjoy from Marblehead Ohio on the south shore of Lake Erie east of Cleveland.

Thank you Malu! We were so close to this lighthouse when we went to Cedar Point 3 years ago but we just didn't have enough time to visit. Great picture of the Marblehead lighthouse! I bet people didn't know that Ohio had lighthouses!

OKAY, OKAY, What is going on here?! I don't know if I am more astonished by the second picture (shame on you - 17.5 mpg or not) or the fact that you are NOT in Utah! Could there be a Idaho Falls in Utah? Did someone else sign in as Rubiranch? Please explain soon.
