This is the ROV Hercules that was used by Bob Ballard to dive on the Titanic in 2004. It is used mostly for underwater archeology and the recovery of artifacts from the ocean floor. It is a big machine - check out the 55 gallon barrel in the background for scale. Tomorrow we are going out on a small research ship to do a fish trawl on Narragansett Bay.

Eric turned 11 this week. He and his cousins celebrated early at the local bowling alley. As my Dad used to say, "A good time was had by all!"
Eric is the one with the sparkling silver smile from ear to ear.
Tomorrow is his birthday party, with 6 little guys spending the night. Poor Mom! LOL

Tom, you unloaded both barrels with your first meal picture, that looks delicious!
Great shots Jon! And there’re bringing home dinner. I think this counts as ‘food picture’

Happy birthday Eric!
Barb, one thing we have noticed after having our third… two was easy, three keeps you hopping and with four or more (friends over)... it seems to easier!

Here are a couple food pics
Hot Italian sausage on the grill.

Some Tyson chicken fillets and left over sauce made a nice and quick chicken parm for lunch today!

Here are a couple I took tonight while the thunderstorms went around us.

Great shots of Eric, Whim! Happy Birthday to the lad. So, Eric hits 11 and I just turned over 62 on the 19th. More than half a century between us. That could almost make me feel I've finally moved out of early youth and into advanced youth.
Jon - wonderful heron images. The wife loved 'em.

OMG, Eric...I remember when you were only in your 50's!
But, thanks! I had some trouble with blurring, so I told myself I need a new camera...and ordered one today. Life is good!
I love the pics of kids! We have a lot of cuties here on the PPT.
