On our trip out and back, seeing a lot of old barns and corrals, I thought about the pictures a lot here on PPT. Its good to see old faces here.

Each summer I teach at a summer camp that is sponsored by Ohio Wesleyan University for gifted middle school students. The title of my class is River Rats and I use the Olentangy River to teach students about river ecology. Mostly the class is about getting outside and learning through exploration. In the process we (me included!) get wet, muddy, and sometimes a bit bruised and of course have a great time enjoying the out of doors. Too few kids have the opportunity to get outside and explore.

Not only did we gain a new daughter-in-law this year, we also gained a new grandpuppy! Snuffleupagus is his name.

In August, Snuffy and his parents joined hubby, Hershey and me on a spur of moment trip to Mohegan Sun in CT.
Snuffy LOVED traveling in the RV.

This was how little Snuffy was when they rescued him back in January.
He is part Maltese and part dachshund.

My guess is that everyone has a crazy favorite family photo...or two???

This is one of mine from the early 1950's.
I'm the one with my eyes rolled back in my head and my tongue sticking out...and, my younger brother is picking his nose!

Too funny not to share.

Almost 70 degrees here today - beautiful late fall day. Took Graham out for a walk as the sun was setting.
