Does anyone know how to make a flower pot light for decorating outside of a camper? Or do you know where I might find one?

Thanks,

Lisa

Are you looking for hanging lights in the shape of a pot? If so, you might try this site Cheesy Lights

We made our flower pot lights. Got the idea from a man who was camping at one of the parks we were at. Got the pots from Wal-Mart, turned them upside down and put a 60w bulb in the top, drilled holes in one and left plain; drilled holes in another one and put colored beads in the holes, and I put one on each end of my awning. Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but maybe it will give you an idea.

We seen some this past weekend, Someone had used the largest PVC pipe you can buy..... used red white and blue beads to make a flag......... put the light inside...... looked great~~ Wally world does NOT have the pots that you are talking about, where we are, they are all plain in our area......I have been looking also~~Even checked the floral stores~~~~Good Luck!

Flower pot from Wal-mart with the embedded flowery design. Tri Beads in various colors, also from Walmart. Drill holes in existing pattern as intricate or simple as you wish. The holes should be just big enough that the tri beads take some pressure to pop in. If they are a bit loose you can apply a little craft glue to hold them. I don't remember the bit size I used, it's been awhile.

I bought a string of the larger Christmas lights and was able to dismantle each plug and attach the little pots and re assemble the plug and bulb. Created an awning-long string that way. The medium/larger pots are good for single lights.

Some time ago we saw an outdoor patio table that someone made with the largest size pot available. The inserted very large plastic beads then placed a lamp sized bulb in through the bottom and a lacquered circle of wood for the table top. It was really pretty.
