Good morning. Well another birthday has passed and now I am working on another one, one day down and three hundred and sixty four to go. It was cold here this morning with a light frost on the ground. The sun is wrming things up in a hurry right now as it is already up to forty five.

I have been trying to track down a relative in Newport News Virginia name Pauline D. Williams. She is 90 years old and the daughter of W.D. Daniels my father's oldest brother. She has a son Skippy T. Williams and I believe she is living with him. I found her name in a search but it went to a dead end. I am hoping to be able to contact her when we go to Williamsburg next week. I did find a distant cousin and was able to talk with her, but she didn't know how to find her either.

Anyway the girls are doing well and ready to go for a run in the fields. I have started giving Suzie the supplement Young at Heart and she has really turned on the after burners, maybe that wasn't such a good idea?

I had a good day yesterday with a lot of well wishers sending in B/day messages, made me feel good that I have so many friends around. I lost another friend from Waynesboro this week, John Mundy. He and I grew up together. At one time we were neighbors. He and I used to catch a ride in the ice wagon when it came around delivering 25 pound blocks of ice for the ice cooler in the house. Those days are long gone and far away. I had a puppy named Samson that he and played with until he, that is Samson, grew up and wanted to roam the neighborhood looking for girlfriends. I can't remember what happened to Samson but he wasn't with us when we moved to another neighborhood.

Okay I have to go, talk with you later.

Is it just my imagination, or did this one seem to take longer to get here? (rimshot)

Have you ever heard the expression, "carrying coals to Newcastle?"

Have a great day.

Is that like "Taking owls to Athens?"
Have a great day.

I have set a longevity record. I am older than I have ever been before.

I would say luck must have been with me on our vacation. We have been home for 2 weeks. today I was walking by the camper and happened to look at the tires as one did not look quite right. My right front tire was a worn patch about a foot long and an area about the size of a large egg showing cords. Appears to be tread separation. New tires going on tomorrow. (not that I wanted to spend the money right now).

Well Dan you know from experience what it is like changing a tire on the side of the Interstate Texas style. That is with 25 feet of wire hanging out of the camper where a piece of a tire tore a hole in the floor and ripped wires from the wall and left them hanging behind the camper.

I don't know what I would have done without you that day, you were a life saver.
