There are a number of small port towns along the eastern shore of Lake Michigan (western Michigan). I love Grand Haven, Saugatuck, New Buffalo, Benton Harbor used to be nice and parts still are...
Have a safe trip and wave as you pass through. When you get to the Indianapolis Blvd. exit off of I80-94 (I think it's exit 2), our hospital is about 2 blocks north and we live about a mile or two south.

We made it to Deforest Wisconsin today, Chicago was absolutely busy. The toll roads, will let's just say never again. The girls are doing well and have been for their afternoon walk. The weather is hot and breezy. Looking forward to tomorrow's travels passing through Minnisota and South Dakota.
I usually take I80 straight west to I39 then rejoin I94 around Rockford. It's a few more miles, but a lot less traffic and tolls. Glad you made it safely.
We arrived in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this afternoon and will drive to Sundance, Wyoming tomorrow. Wednesday we will drive to Lewistown, Montana and stay for a while. We plan to visit Yellowstone after leaving Lewistown and then drive back to Sundance, Wyoming to stay a few days to visit some sites in the area.
The girls are doing fine and enjoy the ride and the rest stops where they can sniff, poop and pee. Suzie found a chipmunk's home and tried to get her whole head inside the hole. We all waited for her nose to get bitten, but she was lucky.
Hi Richard, Im glad to see you are enjoying yourselves. In our boating days we used to go across Lake Michigan to Grand Haven, also Snug Harbor which is in I believe South Haven. Beautiful area in the Harbors, this post sure brings back memories. Enjoy.

We made it to Sundance, Wyoming today. The wind was the worse I have ever encountered. There were times I thought we might be blown back where we came from. The fuel mileage dropped to nine miles per gallon. When we got to Sundance we had to find a vet for Mama. While we were waiting for Sue to get directions a lady backed out of a parking space right into the truck, made me sick. Oh well it is just paint and metal, right?
The vet gave Mama some pills to rid of tape worm for $25.00, hope they work. Tomorrow we go on to Lewistoen, Montana where we will stay for a while.
