What a beautiful day! Dan called last night. They stopped in Kentucky for the night and will be here sometime this afternoon. THe sun is bright this morning with a cloudless sky, but breezy. The girls are well and waiting for me to get ready for our walk. Sue is busy in the kitchen baking something good for our company. Don't forget to set your clocks forward one hour tonight before going to bed.
I am so looking forward to this summer with the plans we have made to travel. Montana is such a beautiful state as well as Ohio and Michigan. We will leave Ohio and travel to Michigan and from there we will go up into the UP and into Wisconsin and make our way to Montana. Perhaps we will go further west once we have visited the folks in Montana before going home. With each passing year you never know what is in store for you especially at my age so travel when you can and enjoy your life. Sue and I told the kids don't expect to receive anything from us at our death as we will spend it all before we die. We plan to leave the house for the girls care if they are still around, so in in order to get the house someone has to take the fur gang also, ha ha.
Okay enough of this rambling, got to go, talk with you later.

Dan and Lori arrived this afternoon. After setting up the camper we had supper and talked for a while before Dan and Lori decided they had had enough fun for the day and retired back to their camper for the night.
Anna really looks good and so does Sarah, both very nice girls. It is so good to see them again since last summer. I hope they enjoy their stay.
It was so good to finally get here. We were diverted off I-75 due to a big sink hole that showed up the night before. Had to get off at Jelico and go around on a 2 lane. Not too bad for the first half, 20-35 MPH but the second half was from 0-10. The detour was 31 miles and took almost 3 hours. Pretty scenery but sure was slow going. Overall a pretty good trip as the sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky. Also the farther we came the warmer it got. What a beautiful place Richard and Sue have. It ranks up there with Richard's cousins home
We have no idea yet where we are going from here but will figure that out prior to leaving. Hope to see a bunch of you in June.

Good morning everyone. Today really feels like spring, it is so nice outside. Dan is sitting outside in an easy chair working with his laptop, he looks so peaceful. Sue and I just got back from walking with the girls.
I am going to take Dan to see some very old race cars sometime this week. Names like Fonty, Bobby, Tim Flock and David Pearson, Cotton Owens cars are in this museum. It is privately owned by a man here in Greenville. There are many pictures of famous drives from the 50’s to present day hanging on the walls It is a treasure house of history of the early days of NASCAR that you won’t find anywhere else. I hope Dan enjoys it as much as I have.
Okay I need to go and see what Dan and Lori are up to, talk with you later..

Barb, we are planning on coming to the area on the way home. We want to stop in Murfreesboro and see the doctors that Lori worked with in Findlay. they have offices in Murfreesboro and Nashville. Also in the area is the horse I used to own. Want to stop and say to him. I think we might head towards Savannah from here but have no itinerary set up just playing it by ear.
