The Doctor says the cause of my distress was the drug Januvia. Look it up on the internet under "Januvia blog" and see all the side effects. Anyway I am off the stuff and back on Lantus along with Glipizide

Today is a better day. Boy the blood pressure sure dropped. It was 117/54/68 this morning. I was feeling very bad for the last few days and thought it might be related to the new meds. What I was taking was some powerful stuff and relatively new to the market. When I did research on it there were arguments coming from both sides as to its effectiveness. Anyway the doctor cut the dose in half and that seems to be working. I have lost another few pounds and now weigh less than I have in years, except when I was sick two years ago with the kidney stone that lasted two weeks.

Today we start packing the camper for our trip to Virginia. We leave Thursday morning early so we can make the trip in one day. It is 425 miles from Piedmont to Williamsburg so it won't be too bad. Sue and I are looking forward to our visit there and will spend a week site seeing and taking in the attractions in the area. Mama is doing well and I hope she continues throughout the summer as we have a lot of places we plan to visit. The rest of the fur gang is in tip top shape so no worries there.

Last March I started a thread asking about four wheel drive vs two wheel drive just before we bought the F350. Boy has it turned into a battle ground, I expect it will get locked down sometime today. I am sorry I ever posted it.

Walter and Garland has expressed their desire to join us in Ohio at the Old Fella Rally. I hope they can make it
