We are considering moving from a pop-up to a moterized rv. Does anyone know if any manufacturer makes Class C (or Class A) rvs that are in the 22 to 24 ft length range. We would like to be able to use the rv as our transportation for sight seeing in the area where we are camping. We do not want to tow a second vehicle. We have considered Class B conversion vans but don't like the shower in the middle of the isle.

Look at Winnebago Minnie (Outlook for 2006) models in 22, 24 and 25 lengths. Also Winnebago View model is on a diesel chassis at 24-feet.

I had two previous 24ft class C's. Fleetwood made them. The last one had a pop out. Jamboree 23E . 2002 model. It had tons of power and the pop out was extrememly nice.

We had the same thought about sight seeing until we got to places that the sights were on unpaved rough roads. You can see in our sig what we did. By the way starting first of the month we will be fulltimeing in it until we decide what we want to replace it with. We have parked in some great places that anything larger would be impossible.

In case the aisle shower is the main thing keeping you from a B, not all of them have it; it's mostly a Roadtrek & Pleasureway Lexor feature. Most other recent & current models have an enclosed 'wet' bath on one or the other side of the aisle, and RT has just come out with one in the 210 (see www.roadtrek.com &, IIRC, the Adventurous. Also visit sites for Pleasureway, Great West, & other B makers.

FWIW, my 19' RT has the aisle shower, and I'd rather have that than have to haul around a bunch of empty space that's used for 1/2 or so a day. It does take some getting used to, tho'.

We have a Winnebago Minnie 24V for that very reason and it works great. As Jim1632 mentioned, they are called Outlook for 2006. Winnebago also makes the View and Aspect in 23-ft lengths. Several other manufacturers make something similar.

Lazy Daze makes several floorplans in 23.5 feet, all built on the Ford chassis of course. Older models built on a Chevy chassis came in at 22 feet.

The Jayco Escapade 24 seems to be a nice unit.

Four Winds makes several beautiful ones. Their Chateau Citation, Dutchman Dorado, and Four Winds Siesta all have the same floorplans, including 21BC, 23BA, and 24BB - except each is 2-3 feet longer than the model number would suggest! At least the 21BC is under 24 feet.

A lot depends on what sort of bed you are willing to accept.
