Hey all, have been looking at floorplans and trailers for what seems like forever. have found 2 floorplans that i really like. the HH II 32.5 UKTG, and the Gulfstream 34FMT. both look to ba really nice trailers. have been in the HH II quite a bit and really like this floorplan. but the gulfstream looks like a really nice trailer. any input on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I don't know anything about the Gulfstream, but I know the Hitchiker is a quality trailer. To me the floor plan is one of the most important things to you, followed by quality and price. I bought the Hitchiker II LS 29.5 LKTG. The Hitchiker you are looking at is really nice also. Is the kitchen, bathroom and dining area all accessable with the slides in for both models? For us that was important.

We have a Gulfstream 29FBW that is 32' total length. We feel for the money it was a great value with the Gelcoat, beautiful wood and excellent qualtiy. We did have a few things that the factory could have done a lot better on but I think most new RV's unforturneatly have a few things the dealer must correct. Be sure and buy from a top notch dealer. What is the price of each out of curiosity?

on the HH II everything is accessible except for I believe the living room. it would be a little difficult to get into, but the kitchen, bath, and bed are all I. the bathroom is in its own room which is something that we really like. looking at the accessible it not as accessible as the HH II, but have not been in it to actually see it in person, just online pictures. as for the price they are fairly equivalent. mid 40's for both all said and done

we have the 2005 hitchhiker II UKTG and love it. it is well made and we have had only minor problems with this new model. my husband especially likes the way it tracks when towing. he says that while he never forgets it is behind us, its like it is not really there. the floor plan is perfect for the two of us. we did add many extras including heavy duty suspension, upgraded tires and cosmetic changes on the inside. we love it and can hardly wait for each trip. nuwa customer service is well known and when you have a question, you will talk with a real person. good luck. you cant go wrong with this model or brand.

Gulf Stream has been quite lax on repairs and customer service. I would suggest the Hitchhiker for peace of mind.

I have a Gulfstream fifth wheel and I am very pleased with it. As for warranty and customer service I think they have come a long way on those items. I had a few repairs under warranty nothing major. Most were cosmetic they took care of them no questions asked. I did not like the sound of the combination washer and dryer I had them install from the factory I told them this and they replaced it with a new one. I'm very pleased with them.

Agree with Texasfifthwheeler, our 32.5 UKTG is all he says. We went to Chanute and had ours built per the DW's specs.
