We were told to open a can of bean dip and relax! I KNOW...I'm bad..it isn't funny...we had the same problem with our Doxie..what are you using to bathe her? We changed to a shampoo the vet recommended..I guess it's not really uncommon...sorry...it's been so long now I can't remember the brand..but I would try something different...mabye you can get an idea from a groomer.
Good Luck!
Often times Lhasa Apso owners call their dogs "frito feet" and now you know why..... LOL Our two Lhasa smell like corn chips, too. It is MUCH better than many other smells I can think of.
Enjoy!

the dog I had smelled like the dry dog food I fed him, something like fritos, dog before I feed mostly canned food and didn't smell hardly at all,but they were diff breads,I think the food has a lot to do with it,

We have a Brittney Spaniel mix and my son has always said her paws smelled like Fritos - we had never heard anyone else remark about this. Interesting to hear others have experienced it as well.

Good theory but that doesn't work in our house... one of my dogs has food allergies so we don't feed them food with any corn or corn by products. I suppose if they ate corn that might explain the corn chip smell......
I think it is the difference in their coat more than anything but I really don't care what causes it. I am just happy not to have to smell that "doggy" smell when they are all snuggled at the foot of the bed.
Both my dogs have Frito paws as does my neighbor's dog. It is quite common. If you google daw paws smell like fritos you will get all sorts of hits on dog message boards. I used to call Quincy "Mister Stinky Feets" (which he HATES).
