1 can sweetened condensed milk
one bag of chips (white choc., dark choc, milk choc, butterscotch, or peanut butter, or combo)
1 tsp extract
mixins, about 1 1/2 cups
Melt choc and milk in microwave on very low, stirring frequently. Add extract, stir. Add mixins. Scrape into a plastic wrap lined baking dish and chill til set, cut up. VERY smooth and creamy, never grainy like some of the kind where you boil up a sugar mixture.
My favorites:
cookies and cream: white choc., crushed oreos, vanilla
Heath Bar: milk choc, Skor pieces, crushed almonds, almond extract
Cape cod: white choc, dried cranberries, orange extract, chopped walnuts
Chunky: choc w/ cashews, raisins, peanuts
Hazelnut: white choc, hazelnuts, hazelnut extract or candy flavoring
eggnog: white choc, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, rum extract, butter extract
Pina colada: white choc, coconut and rum extract, finely chopped candied pineapple, chopped dried cherries
FUDGE TRUFFLES
make up a basic fudge mixture without mixins or with very finely chopped mixins. When cool, but not completely set up, roll into 3/4" balls. Chill. Dip in melted chocolate and roll in crushed toppings like nuts or whatever.
