Larry, You GOTS to do some trout fishing when you head out west...I'd love to do some trout fishing up around Jon's way...still working on that one....
It's a beautiful day here, sun's out, the son, DIL and two GS's came up around 9:30 this morning...Water is great, almost crystal clear and warm....just got out from swimming..loved it.
hope all of you are well and having a great weekend....Gotta go, later.

Now there you go NC, corrupting Larry about fishing poles and those poor little fishies. I bet you even watch those big guys in tight pants who fight over pieces of pigskin. You are as bad as Art.
Larry, I have one of those so called smart phones and I tend to agree, it is smart, much smarter than me. I do like gadgets tho and I like to play with them. dont always know what I am doing til after I mess them up.
We didnt get a drop of rain here today and that was a relief. We have had rain every day for a week now. We have needed the rain, but a day off is good.
I have been having cousins crawl out of the woodwork lately. They seem to all be on facebook. If you havent tried that, you might find it to be fun. I have some great cousins, at least in the old days they seemed great. I will let you know if I still feel that way about them now
Well, we're back home,,,time flies whether your having fun or not and we were having a GREAT time....Got up this morning, didn't get in any hurry, and it was about 58 degrees and foggy on the river....We left at about 12 noon and got home around 4:30....nice trip, even got 16.1 mpg with the dually....not bad I don't think....
Hope all of you are well and hope your having a good day....Going to eat a sandwich, catch y'all later.
Nice day here today. it is not all that hot, only in the 80's. Actually feels cool compared to a week or two ago.
Art should be home in little more than an hour. thats good too. He will be happy that I found his glasses. He has a pair for his office and a pair for home and this morning he couldnt find his home ones. It seems Kahlan had taken a liking to them. she had them on a toy shelf. At least they were in a safe place
I think this is one of the quietest days I have ever had. I dont think I can stand many more days like this. I might have to try out a new recipe or something.
I think NC has corrupted everyone. all that talk about fishing. Kathy is one good woman, putting up with a guy who likes to dangle worms in the water.
So far the day is looking good. The local weatherman is calling for rain tho. Kahlan and I are going to costco today. Only going to pick up a couple of things...but then we all know a trip to costco usually expands quite a bit. Hope you all have a good day.
Glad to hear that all seems to be going well for everyone. NC don't let all that work get you stressed ..pace yourself. ro_sie yu better be careful in that COSTCO or the buying bug WILL bite you. I used to be a SAMS person, always ended up bringing more home than I started out for. Haven't renewed my membership since last year though and seem to be doing ok.
The DW and I instaled the Tire Pressure Monitoring System yesterday. Not really all that difficult...and would be even less difficult if they had someone writing the instruction manual that knew what the heck they were doing. NC I bet you and Mower as well know about user manuals that were apparently written by someone who didn't have a detailed knowledge of the subject. Anyway, it didn't take more than 45 minutes or so to get all 4 sending units sync'd up to the monitor and thenm program all 4 with the high and low pressures. Temp is factory set to go off when it reaches 155 F. It seems that the conventional wisdom is that tire failure as it relates to temp is in the 180 - 200 degree F range. So we'll see how this system works out. The park in Maggie where I keep the TT gave me the name of a guy who washes RV's in thier park. Got him out there now trying to get most of the crud off before we head out. If he does a good job I'll get him to do it again when we get back.
That's all for now as I have to go into Asheville and get my military ID renewed.
armalite, how come I think your someone else? I'm confused, but that is nothing new. Several things you've stated got my attention, but if you,re not someone else, you've got a lot in common with someone I know
Work stress me out? It's probably one of the most stressful jobs I've ever had, except for the short stint Uncle Sam sent me on for a short period of time about 40 some years ago......but I'd have to be truthful in saying, that if "I'd known", I don't know if I'd gone into manufacturing WAYYYYY back when and wonder if the money is worth it being in Management....I can handle it, but I really look forward to having a couple day's off here and there and really enjoy my time more and more with the wife and kids and grandkids....ok...I'm done.
It's pretty warm outside right now, it was overcast and they're calling for a chance of rain, but I haven't seen any yet...yard needs mowed, but I just don't feel like messing with it today, pretty pathetic if you think about it....I am going to do a little trimming and it ain't going to get done with me setting in front of this keyboard.
Y'all take care and have a good day, catch ya later
..going to bump this up, everyone must be busy....got home this afternoon from work and got all the yard work done....allows me to not have to worry about it this weekend. Appears we'll have the girls over Saturday evening to spend the night...Hadn't seen them for almost two weeks. Amber started school today, she's in the 3rd. grade, her sister is 4 yrs. old, so she's still at home...It also means we eat at Denny's Sunday morning with them,,,,sort of a tradition with the girls and us when they spend the night with us....
Beautiful day here today, in fact it seemed quite warm while I was mowing....just a bit tired, Hope all of you are well and having a great day, believe I'm going to watch a little TV before hitting the rack...
I guess you are correct NC, everyone is busy. We have had some fantastic days here. not too hot and the sky has been clear. The way the weather man is talking thoi, we will get rain today.
armalite, I dont think I have met you before, but it surely is my pleasure to do so. I not only have a costco card, I have Sams card. We are one of those lucky people to have both stores local. For the first time in years we only have 3 people living here. So those cards dont get used as heavily as they once did. I like their gas pumps tho, if they only sold diesel I would like them better. Got to tell you, that tire system sounds nice. Wouldnt mind having that on our MoHo.
Got our Connecticut daughter and sil on the way here. Cant wait to see them. Their daughter and her best friend spent spring break with us and they were a joy. They sure didnt live up to the wild college kids reps.
I think we may have to post Larry and mower among the missing. Maybe they found handbasket and he kidnapped them Either that, or handbaskets kidnapper has all of them.
I have a little job to do on my sewing machine today. Got a couple sets of towels to embroider. that means $ signs for me.
Hope you have a great day, and armalite, youall come back now, you hear?
