Good late afternoon to all of you....Jon, know what your talking about between Maint. people and the designers or engineers that "plan" all of that "stuff".....Having filled both shoes, I try a little harder, but guess that's because I use a little more "common sense" than some other Engineer/Designers that maybe never really had "hands on" OJT....like me.
Been windy here today, but it only got down to 41 degrees at our place last night...no frost and got up to a little over 60....cloudy at times and REALLY looked like rain, but none yet. They're calling for it and for temps. to start going back up again........
Hope all of you are well and having a great day....time to eat supper....
later y'all

Mower, I think they put all that stuff in and then build around it. Something to drive owners crazy and to let the commercial repair people add to the costs. I dont know if it is possible, but yoou might be able to resort to what electrical people do and attach one end to the new stuff and pull it thru. Guess that would depend on how far and what you have to pull it thru.
We are getting 2 new babies added to our tribe. One will be in Va and one will be right here in our town. The one right here in our town scares me. I have all the little ones I can take care of and pray that mom and dad realize that. a couple of hours is not bad, but I cant do any more than that. Both of the little critters are due to arrive in late oct. Gives me time to plan. Maybe i should move?
So tell us NC, where are the pictures? Now you need to get hold of that friend and have him help you update them.
Larry, are you falling by the wayside? we need you to contribute your bit of nonsense.
Handbasket, where are you? Are you off camping in that neat class C? We need to hear some more of your dry wit. Not to mention keeping mower in line
I am going to goof off today and go to the park with the little one. Anyone ready for the slide?
I have found one end of the flex tube that I can get at (sort of) that has a clamp on it. OK, that end of the hose I can get loose. The other end is buried in a compartment that has about a 10 X 10 inch door on it, and I can't see how the hose is attached to the PVC pipe that goes to the gray tank. I fear it is glued, which would be, IMO, INCREDIBLY STUPID!
I may have to reach in there with a small hand saw, cut the flex tube, and see what happens then. I can get the sink half out fairly easily, then I can see how it is put together and figure out what to do with the other part.
Putting it back together may be relatively easy. Construction grade silicone is wonderful stuff!

Jon, don't you love it when idiots design some of these things...I believe plumbing in some walls were done and the rv built around it to where there is hardly a way to get to some things. I had a leak under my kitchen sink....it was all I could do to contort my body to get my arm in there to see what was going on...I have hot and cold and the faucet pulls out so that you can wash stuff off and THAT fitting was loose...it was either get BOTH hands into that cabinet area or tear the sink out....I FINALLY got two wrenches in there, tightened everything down and no more leak, BUT, if I'd been any heavier, or hands any bigger, don't believe I'd been able to do it...idiots..
Pretty day here today, sunny to partly cloudy and supposed to get up in the low 70's. Kathy had her gall bladder taken out yesterday....she's sore today and got a little sick when she was in recovery, but all in all everything went well...I'm off today taking care of the house and Kathy....gotta work tomorrow....doggone it, AND next Saturday...other supervisor is off next week, but I'm off in a couple so he'll have to pull two Saturdays....works out pretty good.
Hope all of you are well and hope you have a great weekend.
Hey NC, glad to hear Kathy is Ok and home recuperating. Your signature looks way cool. Mower, hpe you get the plumbing thing squared away. BTW, how's the weather now?
ro_sie, how are things down south....did you get any of that nasty weather we had here yesterdaY?
Almost daylight at 5:30 and light till enough to read till about 10 PM. We are loosing night time quickly.
Mom and 3 cubs spotted in park for two days in a row - not by me. I did see a moose who seemed to be looking fore a birthing room in back of the cabin. She didn't seem too bothered by my presence. Moli continued to hold the sidewalk down for her as she passed us. I keep looking for the bears and moose and have one of my cameras available as I go about my day.
We are losing snow - slowly - on the mountains. Every day there are changes. For some reason, I am not looking forwrd to the summer weather, although it rarely gets above 70s here.
The two kids were from a Christian school. Just playing around. I think they may have been brothers. I am SO GLAD I am not a teacher!!!
Have a good weekend everyone. Keep safe, healthy and happy.
Good evening all...It was a beautiful day here. Left to go to work around 5:30, temp was 50 or so...got off at 3:00...I think it got up to a little over 70...mowed the yard, weed wacked and now I'm tired. Supposed to get up to about 82 tomorrow. I'll take it and like it,.
DW is recouping from her surgery, believe she's going to try to go back to work Monday. Guess we'll see. She seems to be doing fine.
Hope all of you are well and having a great weekend. May go to CW tomorrow just to get out and go..........
I fired a couple of shots with the new .22 rifle the other day, and it quit.
So, yesterday I removed the trigger housing to see what was going on (or not going on, as the case may be). Nothing obvious, except that pulling the trigger does not release the hammer. Hmmmm... Pried the trigger forward, for lack of anything better to try, and it fired, then stuck again. AHA!! worked the trigger back and forth a few times, and it seemed to work, so put it back together, loaded the magazine, went out on the deck, and emptied the magazine as fast as I could pull the trigger! (I love living in the country where I can shoot if I want to!)
I might leave the scope off of it, I rather like the buckhorn rear sight.

Hey Jon, I can shoot around here if I want to, also not in "town"....nothing behind me but woods and a hill.....It's a bit loud for my .44, but the .22 handgun and rifle are fine and don't make a lot of noise....
It's a beautiful day here, sunny and it's supposed to get up to about 83 or so...it's warm now...Though they're calling for a 30% chance of rain tomorrow, I couldn't help myself. I washed the Jeep and the Truck....also purchased a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GLS to park the truck and drive the used car around...it's in excellent condition believe it or not and only had 40, 500 miles on it when I bought it....I'm carrying liability on it now, but it's in such good shape, might add collision later....Haven't had it long enough to see the mpg yet, but it's supposed to be around 33 on the highway....I was really surprised that I found it...
Hope all of you are well and having a great day....gotta go outside, too pretty to set inside..
