I am planning to establish a residence address for mail, registration, insurance in S,Dakota.
Any one has experience with Alternative resources or with MyDakotaaddress?
Would like to get your input regarding service and fees on both before sign a contract.
Thank you.

We use Americas Mailbox in Rapid City, S.D. They've been fair & decent with us. They are a little cheaper than Alternative Resource.

We use MyHomeAddress,Inc. in Emery, SD. They are very good. Their toll free number, if you want to ask any questions is 888-494-4499.

I use AR and have had no issue with them. Paul and the gang are great. I am planning a trip up there this weekend to get my drivers license and hopefully meet the crew.

We use Alternative Resources in Sioux Falls and could not be happier with them. The drivers license bureau is right next door which is convienent as well. Valley Bank is also just across the street where we opened a bank account. When we traded trucks this summer they also handled the registration for us by mail so that we didn't have to go back to SD. We are on the twice a month plan and get our mail package in two to three days from when they send it.

I use http://mydakotaaddress.com/and have been very pleased. Low prices, great service in a nice town of 6,500. Good rv parks on the lake nearby. I deal with Terri who is very helpful and willing to make sure things are correct. One final thing I like is that they will email me with the mail I have received and I can determine what I want forwarded and how fast I want it sent (overnight or regular priority mail). A nice touch.

Been using AR for 18 months with no problems and they were very helpful in establishing SD residence as well.

Another happy Alternative Resources user here.

As a matter of fact, our plates are due to be renewed in January. I send Paul an email asking what info they needed to reregister things for us. Got a prompt response and send another email with the info they needed.

Took about 2 minutes of my time to get 3 vehicles registered, and that included finding the numbers they needed off the titles. New stickers, or plates (I heard a rumor that SD was issueing new plates this year??? ) will be mailed to us here.

Doesn't get any easier than that! LOL
