DW says one of the ladies brought this to work today. I can't imagine mixing cheese with cocoa, but she says it was yummie. She had to go back for more just to make sure.
1 lb Velveeta cheese
1 lb butter
4 lbs powdered sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts (walnuts, pecans or ect.)
Melt butter and cheese in glass bowl in microwave. Add other ingredients in order given.
Spread in 10 x 15 buttered pan.
Makes a lot of fudge! Freezes very well.
Let me know if you make any and how it is. I'm still not sure about mixing cheese with cocoa.

Believe it or not that recipe has been around for a long time and comes directly from the Kraft Velveeta company itself. You'll often see it on the side of the box this time of year. I even saw it featured on Food Network recently. Try it, you'll be surprised.

Sorry, I just can't help it -- anything with velveeta and I just end up turning the page. About the only place I will give up my normal food snobbiness is a Philly cheese steak sandwich--they really do taste better with Cheeze Whiz.

I can not even tolerate Velveeta by its self. Ever since I saw it stacked in the grocery stores with out any refigeration. What in the world ever happend to REAL cheese. You have to look really hard now days to find the real thing. I guess the good news is that the recipie calls for Butter.
