This is the before photo

This one is with the paneling peeled down so I could install more support.

This is with new bracing.

Paneling reattached, bracket mounted, TV installed, wiring run inside loom & arm fully extended.

TV facing bed

TV inside cabinet ready to stow.

Another view of stowed.

Sorry so many photos, I'm a very visual kind of guy.
I hope this helps somebody...

Very COOL!
Nice work.
Nothing like power tools in bed, air powered at that!!!
On my list of things to upgrade, is to tie my TV/DVD/Laptop into the camper speaker system.

Do you have the model and part numbers? That would look sweet in my 10-2000.
Very nice job and nice fit.
My wife would kill me if I put my power tools on the bed without a cover.
Thanks,

I failed to mention the radio in this camper plays CD's and DVD's and is wired directly to the TV. The arm pivots/swivels and tilts and can be viewed from anywhere. The mount is for a much larger TV (up to 80lbs) but I wanted it for the length of the arm (24"). We got the very pricey mount on Ebay with reasonable S&H.

Very nice job. I would also like to the know the make and model # of the bracket. Also make and model of the LCD, tough to tell from the pixs.
Thanks, Mike

You done good! Does the remote work from the bed? Most radios are not in sight of the remote from up there. I have considered adding one of those fancy pants DVD radios in ours.

The mount is "Universal LCD TV Articulating wall mount up to 80 lbs
Supports any LCD TV up to 80 Lbs like 30", 32",.." on the box it had "37 arm-s oem" "1002688-1". Hope that helps.
The tv is a 15" Sylvania since I have it mounted I can not see the tag on the back with the model number.
Yes the radio remote works from anywhere, signal must be able to bounce.
Heres a shot from the dinette

Edit on 4/7/06
OK, I found the model information for the TV
Sylvania
15" LCD
6615LD
This link is just an example, please shop for the best prices.

That is exactly how we installed our tv in the tv cabinet. We got our swing away bracket at circut city. Be warned, they are very pricey, but worth it.

Do you plan to remove the sliding shelf that was intended for the traditional TV? Seems like you could save a pounds useless material, and gain a few inches of storage space.
