Try Fireball whisky. You won't have a need for wine glasses and you will have many new friends. You can even drink it straight out of the bottle (paper bag optional).

Used to love the Fireball. But have since discovered Evan Wlliams Honey Reserve!!

Popeye59: one thought. Do you want to drill some holes somewhere along the bottom of the pipe to drain any liquid that might collect?

Our neighbors at the CG this past weekend had the stainless steel wine glasses. I think they are a great alternative to breakable glass. I am thinking about getting a set.

wouldnt that quickly transfer the heat from your hand to the wine and bruise the wine?

What is the wine doing in a glass, stainless steel or not, long enough to change temperature?
Around our rig it is a parishable item and must be consumed appropriately...

In the stinky slinky tube? Never had any collected water in it. I don't think it is perfectly level and the back part is a 45 degree fitting.

The things that come to those that wait will be the crappy junk left by those that got there 1st.

To continue Handy Hints and move on from wine glasses, here is one I don't think I have posted before.

We usually have a cooler or plastic tubs of supplies to stash while we go down the road in our slide in camper. I put low profile loop type eyes low and high on each side of the foot area of the dinette area and put bungie cords across to hold items from sliding into the aisle way.

You need to use low profile closed loop eyes so you don't bump your legs on them. I have two kinds that I have picked up over the years for camper tie downs. One style is stainless that I think may have been for boat use (bought at flea market), the other is aluminum or some such that I think are really half of a clamp for clamping wires but work well for tie downs (also flea market purchase).

I had just had heard of folks doing that with "stinky slinky" holders like yours to let any little bits of water drain out. If yours drains anyway, and it sounds like it does, then it certainly wouldn't seem needed.

I put holes in the stinky slinky storage tube to let air circulate to prevent smell.

I have 20 small holes on each end to ventilate the tube. The tube is running fwd and aft so while driving, there is plenty of air flow.

Another tip: we hung a shoe organizer on the wall using Command adhesive hooks to organize shoes, sunglasses and the like. Well, I put a paper clip om the outside of one of the shoe pockets and threaded some safety pins to that so I can find them in a pinch.
Also, check out locker organizer and back.to.school items. Found a Command adhesive Post.it Notes dispenser with a pen holder. I use it to track All sorts of things like grocery items and things we need to pick up at Camping World next time we are there.
