We are honored to be the 2007 hosts of the East Coast 2nd Annual Old
Fella Rally
It will be our pleasure to accommodate your group in August next year.
Please try to let us know as soon as possible, what weekend/dates you
have chosen so we can block those sites for you.August 9,10,11,12, 2007
We can handle up to 36 RV's / 6 tents / and rent 3 cabins and a fully
equipped Holiday Rambler travel trailer averaging up to about 100
people. Please note, that for insurance reasons, the minimum age on our
tent sites is 18 years.
All of our sites have full hook-ups including complimentary TV and WIFI
access. Most of our sites are pull-thrus. We reserve sites with shade
and partial shade on a first come first serve basis.
As far as our dog amenities are concerned, we are featuring fully fenced
small dog and big dog (off-leash parks), and Agility playgrounds, a
fully fenced swimming pond, an AKC Standard Agility Ring, a Rally-O
Park, a doggy bathhouse plus 20 acres of hiking trails. BTW: We have
seen as many as 80 dogs at a time in the large dog park.
As indicated in our phone conversation, we treat groups / Rally’s as
individual reservations. Each person needs to register either by phone
or online and our regular rates, rules and regulations apply to each
participant individually. We do however; try to place groups together
and we also offer special services e.g. free use of the pavilion for
gatherings and meals.
Please use the sign-up forms provided here:

will not charge any deposit before March 1st, 07.
If your group is interested in a special event, a catered dinner, Bingo,
Karaoke etc. we can arrange those too. We can quote you on these if

Four Paws Kingdom included an announcement of the Rally in their enewsletter sent out today. They printed Dixie Flyer's original posting and a link to the thread and Old Fella website. I am sure this will generate even more interest in attendance.

I just signed up for the rally. I requested site #40 Bobu because it is one of the most shaded sites, and we need lots of shade for our Siberian.
You'll love that campground! The main off-leash play area is huge - probably about an acre. And it is right next to the pavillion, so the furries can play while activities go on. That is nice for us because we never leave our Siberian alone in the trailer. It is really a wonderful campground. We really enjoyed our visit there, and are going back this October too.
Thank you for choosing Four Paws for the rally!

I am very jealous! 4 Paws sounds like a great place and they seem excited to be having the east coast rally. :C Unfortunately for me, the dates are a definate "no no" for me and my work schedule. :( I am hoping the west coast rally will be within a two day drive for us and also be held before the last week in June.

Oh wow! I just got a PM from another RV.net member who I met at 4Paws earlier this year telling me about this rally. I've followed Old Fella's story on and off since the near beginning. You guys could not have picked a better place to have the 2nd rally! This CG is the greatest for people and their dogs and they cook a great barbecue too!!
Gonna talk with hubby about this asap. Been looking for an excuse to go back since it is a bit of a trip for us but I think Old Fella rally will be a great reason to return!
Again, can't say enough about this CG. Great choice!!
