I've followed Old Fella's story on and off since the near beginning. You guys could not have picked a better place to have the 2nd rally! This CG is the greatest for people and their dogs and they cook a great barbecue too!!
Gonna talk with hubby about this asap. Been looking for an excuse to go back since it is a bit of a trip for us but I think Old Fella rally will be a great reason to return!
Again, can't say enough about this CG. Great choice!!
Well come on down and enjoy the fun. Since you have been there before you can show us new folk around. I have read about Four Paws and found it interesting and when I checked up on the campground it only made sense to hold the East Coast Old Fella Rally there. They are excited about having the rally and have become Old Fella fans quickly. I am sure we will all have a great time!

Just got off phone a bit earlier with hubby and he thinks it's a great idea to go again.
We do plan on a big trip out west next year but no way would we be doing that in August so, we are clear to go join the Old Fellow Rally at FourPaws.
It will be as hot as hades down there, I'm sure, but well worth the trip! And when we were there over Memorial Day weekend, we went for a visit to Chimney Rock Park very close by and took our younger doggie with us. Great great place for a day trip!
Hershey (20 month old Chessie)and Samantha (12 year old lab/terrier/chow mix) will be very happy to return to 4Paws and meet OldFella!!
Me and hubby are just happy to travel anywhere in the RV.
Hey Cheryl! (Mincey) thanks for bringing this to my attention!!

Tulirose -
Was very happy to let you know!! And you are right - probably will be much hotter in August than it was at Memorial weekend, so hopefully we can get the site I requested - I mentioned #40 in the reservation. It is practically in the woods! We have that site for this October too. During the OF Rally will probably be spending a lot of time at the swimming pond!!!

This is gonna be SO cool!!! I can't wait to meet some of the folks that weren't able to attend the first rally in Branson!!
I took a peek at 4 Paws' website today, and I have to say that I was definitely impressed. It's gonna be tough to wait a whole year for the rally to take place, though.
Come on folks -- join us! It's gonna be a blast!!!
Just requested our reservation - waiting on confirmation! I'm so excited, don't know if I can stand the wait until next year! In the meantime, I will try to figure out what I can reasonably do around here to help the cause.

That is great! If you are going to the west coast rally as well we could meet at Clarksville, Tennessee and convoy on out west.
We'd have to meet up around St. Louis - Tennessee would be out of our way. It looks like our paths would cross around St. Louis. And yes, CO is something we definitely want to do - just need to know where and when.

There is a campground we stayed in back in 2003 when we went to Yellowstone. It was Cottonwoods RV Park at Columbia Missouri which is the other side of St.Louis. It was our second stop for the night on our trip out. Maybe we could meet there. You will have to look at where it is and see if it will fit into your travel time as a stopping place for one night. Looking at the United States map it looks like a good place to meet up. I will take a look at the trip map from Richmond, Virginia and compare it to the mileage from Waynesboro to Columbia, Missouri as well and see if the mileage is about equal.
