Pat, there have been some really good discussions on where to possibly hold a West Coast Rally on the original Ol Fella Rally thread. Alot of thought was put into a fairly "central" location for us out West vs. Branson Missouri where it was held last year. They are also forming an East Coast Rally in NC I believe.
Colorado sounds like it may be do-able next year for us. Anytime in June is fine as well.

Please make sure that you post all the info on the first post so that people don't have to go searching thru all those pages for info as in the Branson one..
Is there gonna a donation to some specific charity such as the guide dogs in Oregon, etc ???
Also please set a date and time soon as possible as for some of people that's gonna be a major rally trip...I would also suggest somewhere's around Logan or Salt Lake City...

Looks like it might be at Mountaindale RV park, near Colorado Springs, which was suggested. We are going down there tomorrow to check out the park to see if the access is ok for big rigs and etc. Probably will be the 2nd or 3rd week in June. Not for sure yet but we should all know soon. Unless someone has some better ideas.

Suggestions??? LOL I'm just looking forward to attending a Rally that I'm not ...well 95 percent in charge of.. Ok I know that is my own fault. Ya think I would learn after 4yrs...NOT.
There are many options on the greener side of Colorado too. Glenwood springs, Aspen, Vail (ladies, SHOPPING). This also opens up visiting Moab, Dinosaur NM, Bryce etc.
SoCal would be a 8 hour or less pull, more for me and those north.
I'm good either way, but it might open up to those from OR/WA better?
And, rafting, and sites on the mighty Colorado river itself? http://www.glenwoodcanyonresort.com/rv_sites.html
I'm am not intimitely familiar with CO from a camping standpoint though. And, there appears to be many great things to do around Colorado Springs.
Whatever, I still vote for third week of June starting Friday the 15th with most coming in Sat the 16th.

John, Green is always good. I'm not familiar with the CG's in CO but the few pics I have seen look....well hummmm pretty dry and hot. Sounds pretty funny from someone that lives in the summer heat ehh??? We try to head away from it on vacation if possible. OK perfect Campground is Level sites, shade, 90 degree or less, no humidity......lol were from Calif and don't even know how to deal with that. Full hookups are great but not necessary for us...a lake or water is always good but not necessary. The only thing I would stress is that you have folks that want to have a GREAT Time.
JTMO...that place looks great...not sure who is on the make it so commitee so hope more suggestions and or decisions are made soon....oh this is is so much fun not being the "one" Holly Mollie who is our wagonmanster????
That CG in Glenwood seems to be a mixed bag. Horrible ratings in RVParkReviews but pretty good ones in Woodalls. No rating by Trailer Life 2006 CD. The bad ratings talk about extremely small sites and rude employees. They also charge an extra $5 for pets and there's no WiFi (if that's critical). There is also some differences in what both reviews list as amenities. Woodalls says Cable TV, Internet Friendly while RVParkRevies says no Cable and no Internet. Their online "Fact Sheet" lists Wifi at the "full hookup sites for Big rigs (11 only) and a total of 36 sites (25 are water and electric only. All very confusing. I have driven through that area years ago and it is indeed beautiful. Does anyone have any personal knowledge of this CG?
