Not sure if this counts, but this is BIL's I have not seen another Carriage in a long time. It is a 1988 34 footer HEAVY. When his Dodge broke(overdrive the nut backed off, no biggie) I had to tow it with my 3/4 ton 6.0 Chevy 200 miles. It did it, but man it was angry. It is just over 15,000 with all his stuff in it. He lives in it. It will be here awhile as he finally got his CDL and is working for Werner.
The unit itself is solid and well made. Even as compared to newer models. Even though my truck was working when it towed it, it was very nice as it actually has LT tires on the coach.
Has that '82 been garaged to keep the exterior shiny? Or do you spend a lot of time keep the skin maintained? What is the secret in keeping a 30 yr. old coach with it's outstanding appearance?
